Notary Service
Notary Service is available to residents of Berkeley, Illinois at no cost and is handled as staffing levels allow. The Library's notary will notarize documents at their discretion, but is not able to notarize real estate and immigration documents. Be sure to bring your government-issued identification with you. Documents must be signed in front of the notary, and all people signing the document must be present. It is highly recommended that you call the library (708-544-6017) prior to visiting to insure that the notary is available or if you have questions regarding the documents to be notarized.
Passports: The Berkeley Library is now an authorized as a passport acceptance location! You can now bring in your photo and identifying documents and library staff will accept your applications for passports. This service is available by appointment only. Please see our passports page for more information.
