Helpful Tips

  • Have all forms completed prior to coming to your appointment, but please do not sign your application prior to your appointment.

  • Have all necessary photocopies prior to coming to your appointment. (The Library does offer copying service- $0.10 /page for black and white print; $0.50 for color print).

  • Allow at least 30 minutes for your appointment. Having an appointment does not guarantee acceptance of your application if the necessary forms are not completed when you arrive for your appointment and/or the supporting identification documents or photo are not provided.

  • We do not accept passport renewals. Passport renewals must be submitted directly to the U.S. Department of State through the mail. To learn more about passport renewals and what is required, visit https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/have-passport/renew.html
