The Berkeley Public Library is governed by a seven member Board of Trustees. Trustees provide financial oversight, set policies, plan for the library's future, and help promote the library in the community.  See also: Board Bylaws.

Library Board of Trustee meetings are typically scheduled for the fourth Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm in the Meeting Room at the Library. Agendas of coming meetings, including committee meetings, are posted in advance on this page as well as at the library. Unless noted specifically on the agenda, all meetings are open to the public.
