Mental Health

The Berkeley Public Library provides a safe space and access to resources for all, including anyone suffering from or interested in learning about mental health. Agencies specializing in mental health provide the services needed to improve the lives of those experiencing mental illness. The social work intern can provide information on additional mental health organizations near the area.

   Eligibility: Open to all affected by mental illness. Services include counseling, education and advocacy.

   Hours: Call for more information.

   Eligibility: Residents of Berkeley and other Proviso Township communities. Services include mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment and behavioral health support.
